We were on our way to Home Depot (again) when we happened upon a parking lot full of classic cars! There were so many sweet rides, but this one was definitely my favorite. A 1949 Mercury Eight. I've never been passionate about old cars, but after walking around shooting some photos I could handle cruising through town in this beauty! Maybe one of these days...
One of my favorite things about owning a home is having an excuse to buy tools! I may be spending more time here in the future than Costco, and that's saying a lot!
Hawaii is an odd place. Everyone talks about this 'Aloha Spirit' stuff, but I've never seen road rage anywhere in the world like I have here. People seem really concerned about the environment, but I've seen more trash and disgusting beaches here than the majority of the other places I've been. You'd think everyone would want to keep this place pristiene, but unfortunately, there are many who don't. Here's another one that gets me. Nearly every day there's a 'new' stolen/gutted car on Kunia, another victim of the rampent theft. This one, a BMW that's seen better days. I figured it was time to snap a photo of the beautiful scenery juxtaposed against one of the many bad things we too often see here in 'paradise'.
