I wasn't planning on posting this as my POTD because I took it a few days ago, but I came through the gate today intending on taking another photo and found that my amazing Space Force sticker had been stolen. Seriously, who steals a sticker?? I was loving all the sticker real estate on this gate, but after this unfortunate theft, I'll be hesitant to put any more on it. It made it a few days, and I know it brought a lot of smiles, but someone had to ruin it. Just like everything else in the army. 😏
These are my two friends, Damir and Adnan from Bosnia. They work long hours at the DFAC making sure we're well fed. I said hi to Adnan all the time for several weeks, and finally got to hang out with them today. They spend most of their time at work, but today they got off early because tomorrow they start their vacation! It just so happens that Adnan is passionate about aviation so we've had a lot to talk about. Glad we got to grab a cup of coffee today and I look forward to them returning from their trip home!
Here are my GBC buddies! Thanks for the delicious coffee, my friends. Most of the time the chow hall coffee just doesn't cut it and when it doesn't, these guys save the day!
