Look at that beautiful crema! This is one of the first things that happens during my morning routine. The #DriveThruJoeCoffee is delicious and the shot glass reminds me of home... of flying the Lakota to Astoria for lunch at the Rogue Brewery and one of the best motorcycle rides I ever took. It's the little things...
This is Drive Thru Joe Coffee. It's good stuff. Nicole and Hunter put together a delicious cold brew for me! I use their beans in our Breville Oracle and they're some of the best I've had! Highly recommended!
We flew to Molokai today! Specifically, Kalaupapa. It's a small unincorporated community where, in 1866, during the reign of Kamehameha V, the Hawaii legislature passed a law that resulted in the designation of Molokaʻi as the site for a leper colony, where seriously affected patients could be quarantined, to prevent them from infecting others. Today, about fourteen former sufferers of leprosy (which is also known as Hansen's Disease) continue to live there. The colony is now included within Kalaupapa National Historical Park. We weren't able to leave the airport area, but we headed over to the other side of the runway and took some pictures by the water. This is also the first time I've attached a GoPro to the wing of the diamond and as you can see from the posted picture, it stayed on! I'm a pretty big fan of the angle! (The runway is on the peninsula to the top right of the picture. You can see the lighthouse just to the south.)
